Chickamuga Chert is associated with the Chickamauga Limestone Formation of Georgia primarily occurring as nodules and thin beds in Chickamauga Creek near Kensington and in Rabbit Valley with limestone boulders occurring in Lookout Plateau, Rabbit Valley, and Chickamauga Creek.
