Distribution:
Distribution Comments:

Crowley's Ridge Chert is associated with the Lafayette Gravel Formation.  Distribution is limited to the Crowley's Ridge landform and the Ozark Plateau of Arkansas.  The associated formation is unknown along with the origins of the chert.  It is suggested that this chert is a result of glacial till gravels deposited in Arkansas from sources further north.
