Lorrain Quartzite is associated with the Lorrain Formation of the Cobalt Group of Ontario and into Quebec.  Primary outcroppings are located from Killarney Provincial Park to Whitefish Falls in Ontario.  Can be found along the shores of northern Lake Huron.
