Obsidian Cliffs Obsidian occurs three miles west northwest of North Sisters in the Three Sisters Wilderness area, Lane County, Oregon.  Glaciers have taken obsidian nodules and deposited them down Lost Creek Valley and the Mckenzie River and into the Willamette Valley.  Artifacts from this source have been reported in Washington and into British Columbia.
