Ogallala Silicified Sediment is associated with the Ogallala Formation of western Nebraska, northeastern Colorado, southeastern Wyoming, southern South Dakota, western and central Kansas, western Oklahoma, northwestern Texas, and eastern New Mexico.  Outcroppings occur in western Clark County, southwestern Rawlings County, Kansas.
