These have been divided into: Concave Based, Basal Notched, and Constricted.  These points have parallel oblique flake scars.  These points are associated with the Archaic phase and continued into the Fremont culture.  These points are found throughout the Great Basin.  It is thought that the older points are large and they became smaller as time went on.
