Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:
This is a thick medium stemmed lanceolate point with an elliptical or median ridge cross section.  The blade is excurvate with the broadest portion of the blade being just below the midline. The shoulders are weak to absent and at an upward angle or rounded.  The stem is long and makes up one half to one third the length of the point.  The stem may vary from straight to slightly expanding.  The base is concave.  Grinding is present on the lateral edges of the stem and commonly absent from the base.
