Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern:

This is a small to medium triangular contracting stemmed point with an elliptical cross section.  The blade ranges from straight to excurvate with barbed shoulders pointing downward.  The stem is slightly contracting with an unfinished or poorly worked base.  This point has a random flaking pattern.

Size Measurements:  Length - 23 to 53 mm, Stem Length - 7 to 9 mm,  Blade Width - 20 to 35 mm,  Stem Width - 7 to 12 mm,  Thickness - 5 to 7 mm

This type is reported in This type has been reported at Cueva de la Nopalera, Hidalgo, Mexico.  These points are thought to be found throughout the Valley of Mexico.

Age Details:
These points are primarily associated with levels 4 with decreasing usage in level 3.  Type II has minimal usage in level 2.
