Color:  Amber Chalcedony, when freshly fractured is a translucent amber with snowflake like inclusions, when weathered has a chalky white to yellow appearance.

Translucency:  Semi translucent to opaque

Heat Treatment:  Heat treatment increases the luster to glossy and produces colors of pink.
