Beaver Run Chert / Dolomite is associated with the Beaver Run Dolomite Member of the Ontelaunee Formation, Beekmantown Group of New Jersey and into Pennsylvania and New York.  Primary exposures occur along Beaver Run Creek, a tributary of Wallkill River west of Hamburg, Sussex County, New Jersey.
