Boat Harbour Chert is associated with the Boat Harbour Formation of the St. George Group of Newfoundland and Labrador.  Occurs as abundant chert with exposures occurring just north of Bird Cove community at Grave Point and in Brigs Bay.  Also occurs on ridges and Woody Hill near Bird Cove.
