Cohansey Quartzite is associated with the Cohansey Formation of New Jersey.  It has primary outcroppings along Cohansey Creek in northwestern Cumberland County New Jersey and the west side of Molly Wheaton Run near Greenwich.  It was used throughout southwestern New Jersey, and may occasionally be found throughout the surrounding coastal plains.
