Grand Falls Chert is associated with the Grand Falls Member of the Boone Formation of Southwestern Missouri.  Primary outcroppings occur along Schoal Creek and into Kansas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.  Occurs in Cherokee County, Kansas,  Otawa County, Oklahoma, and Newton County, Missouri.  Named for exposure near Grand Falls, Newton County, Missouri
