medium olive gray. May vary from opaque to a
semi-translucent.

chalcedony like fine grain

Olive chert is primarily found in Berrien, Cass, Kalamazoo and St.
Joseph counties, but it is suggested that it can be found throughout
southwestern Michigan and into northwestern Indiana. Olive Chert
is a Glacial Till chert.
