Peoria Chert is associated with the Tahlequah Member of the Moorefield Formation of northeastern Oklahoma.  Primary outcroppings are found in the Peoria Quarry of Oklahoma and along streams as outcroppings and cobble in that region.  Found into northwestern Arkansas and southwestern Missouri.
