Description of Physical Characteristics:

Color:  Saugeen Bois Blanc Chert can vary in color ranging from very light almost white.  Light blue patches may be present.

Luster:  Porcellaneous to dull

Silica Fabrics / Fossils: Macrofossils include echinoderms and corals.  Microfossils include cymatiosphere, pterospermella, and veryhachium.
