Cabot Head Chert is associated with the Cabot Head Member of the Cataract Formation of Ontario, Michigan, and New York, from the Niagara Falls to the Mantioulin Islands in Lake Huron.  Primary exposures offer at Cabot Head on the Manitoulin Islands in Ontario.  Exposures also occur throughout the Bruce Peninsula.
